Know your air. Replace a damaged or unreadable tank gauge. The Maddog HPA Paintball Tank Replacement Pressure Gauge provides a clear readout of the air pressure remaining inside compatible paintball compressed air tanks.

Featuring a 0-5000 PSI pressure range and standard 1/8" NPT male threads, this replacement gauge is compatible with industry-standard paintball HPA tank regulators requiring these specifications.

Perfect as a replacement gauge for Maddog 48ci/3000 PSI, 26ci/3000 PSI, and 13ci/3000 PSI HPA paintball tanks equipped with the compatible standard regulator.

0-5000 PSI Gauge • 1/8" NPT Male Thread • Industry-Standard HPA Compatibility

Maddog HPA Tank Replacement Gauge Features:

  • 0-5000 PSI Pressure Range
  • Standard 1/8" NPT Male Thread
  • Replacement pressure gauge for compatible paintball HPA tank regulators
  • Displays the pressure remaining inside the HPA tank
  • Compatible with industry-standard HPA paintball tank regulators requiring a 0-5000 PSI, 1/8" NPT gauge
  • Direct replacement option for compatible Maddog 48ci/3000 PSI HPA Tanks
  • Direct replacement option for compatible Maddog 26ci/3000 PSI HPA Tanks
  • Direct replacement option for compatible Maddog 13ci/3000 PSI HPA Tanks
  • Compact replacement for damaged, broken, or unreadable tank gauges

Industry-Standard HPA Tank Compatibility

This replacement pressure gauge isn't limited to Maddog tanks. Its 1/8" NPT male thread and 0-5000 PSI gauge range make it suitable for compatible industry-standard paintball HPA tank regulators requiring the same gauge specifications.

Compatibility is determined by the regulator's gauge thread and pressure requirements — not the tank brand or bottle size.

That means the same replacement gauge can be used across compatible aluminum and carbon-fiber paintball HPA systems when the regulator requires a 1/8" NPT, 0-5000 PSI tank pressure gauge.

Perfect Replacement for All Industry-Standard HPA Paintball Tanks

Need a replacement gauge for your Maddog air tank? Instead of replacing an otherwise serviceable tank or regulator because of a damaged gauge, replace the gauge and get your air system back in service.

What Does the Tank Gauge Measure?

This gauge displays the pressure of the compressed air stored inside the tank. It allows you to quickly check approximately how much pressure remains in the bottle before filling or heading onto the field.

It does not display the regulator's output pressure going to your paintball marker.

For example, a standard paintball HPA regulator may provide approximately 800 PSI output pressure while the tank itself contains up to 3000 PSI. This gauge measures the stored tank pressure, not the regulated output pressure.

Why Does a 3000 PSI Tank Use a 5000 PSI Gauge?

The 5000 PSI rating refers to the maximum reading on the gauge scale. It does not change or increase the working pressure of your HPA tank.

A 3000 PSI tank must still be filled only to its rated 3000 PSI working pressure. Always follow the working pressure permanently marked on the tank.

Never exceed the rated working pressure of your HPA tank.

When Should You Replace Your HPA Tank Gauge?

  • Gauge lens is cracked or broken
  • Needle is damaged or stuck
  • Pressure reading is no longer visible
  • Gauge body has been physically damaged
  • Existing gauge requires replacement during regulator service

If your gauge displays an unexpected or questionable pressure reading, discontinue use until the tank, regulator, and gauge can be properly inspected.

HPA Gauge Installation & Safety

Paintball HPA tanks contain extremely high pressure. The tank must be completely depressurized before removing or replacing the pressure gauge or servicing any regulator component.

Gauge replacement should be performed by someone familiar with high-pressure paintball air systems. The replacement gauge must be properly installed and sealed, and the regulator should be checked for leaks before being returned to service.

Never remove a pressure gauge from a pressurized HPA tank.

What's Included

  • 1x Maddog 0-5000 PSI HPA Paintball Tank Replacement Pressure Gauge

Gauge only. HPA tank, regulator, bonnet, fill nipple, burst discs, and other replacement components are sold separately.

Maddog Pro Tip

A smashed gauge doesn't necessarily mean you need a whole new tank. If the bottle and regulator are otherwise serviceable, replace the damaged gauge and keep your setup going.

FAQ

No. This replacement gauge uses a standard 1/8" NPT male thread and is intended for compatible industry-standard paintball HPA tank regulators requiring a 0-5000 PSI gauge.

Yes, when the tank's regulator requires a 0-5000 PSI pressure gauge with a 1/8" NPT male thread. Compatibility is based on the regulator specifications rather than tank brand or bottle size.

5000 PSI is the maximum reading on the gauge scale. It does not change the pressure rating of the tank. A 3000 PSI tank must never be filled beyond its marked 3000 PSI working pressure.

No. This gauge displays the pressure stored inside the HPA tank. It does not display the regulator's output pressure supplied to the marker.

No. Never remove a pressure gauge or any other regulator component while an HPA tank contains pressure. The system must be completely depressurized before service.
